As a result of DCI Darbyshire refusing to clarify some of the comments made by Supt Andrew Parker in a complaint investigation report, I was forced down the route of submitting a Subject Access Request for copies of the data. In January 2014 I made a second Subject Access Request to SYP. Once again, documents were over-redacted and personal data withheld. Chief Constable Crompton, the data controller, even refused to provide the documents but this decision was over-ruled by the Information Commissioner – read here
